The main tasks and major accomplishments of this project were (1) to update and analyze the basic information of various kinds of industrial land so as to get a comprehensive understanding; (2) to collect quality analysis data and evaluating the outcomes of the “Local Industry Competent Authorities Routine Analysis of Soil and Groundwater Quality for Future Refence Regulations;” (3) to implement the re-inspection in order to ensure the quality and verify the effectiveness of the testing and reporting data submitted by industry parks; (4) to promote and transfer the early-warning groundwater monitoring well networks to the industry competent authorities of industrial parks to improve the benefits of pollution prevention.
Besides, this project was dedicated to promoting the lights classification management for industrial parks. The implementation effectiveness and dilemma of the management system were analyzed to propose the improvement plan. With regard to the enhancement and maintenance of the website of the classification management for industrial parks, several measures were implemented, such as the functional reinforcement of testing data reporting work platform, the completion of land use records, the improvement of data checking and analyzing, and the information integration of cross systems.
Furthermore, regarding the non-designated industrial land, in order to fully understand the current status of land development, industrial production and operation, the basic information was continuously collected and the screening mechanism was proposed to perform the environmental site investigations. Thus, the promotion strategies and management programs were constructed; the amendments to the related laws and regulations were also suggested.
