Promotion of "Environmental Education capacity" is used as the operational framework in this project. Implemented area of this project included Taichung, Nantou, Changhua, Kinmen four Cities or Counties. And following up the five main programs of EE capacity to implement the project, include professional leadership, building capacity learning, technology support, research and evaluation, partnerships dissemination.
There are several goals to set for Central Environmental Education Regional Center. To develop the environmental features, solve the environmental problems, promote environmental education tasks effectively; we have to integrate the resources and private industry, government, academia, social education units, and NGO in the central region of Taiwan. We tutor and help the personnel, institution, and sites of partner units certified. To integrate the environmental expertise and resource, we offer environmental education empowerment courses and workshops. Furthermore, we build the evaluation mechanisms of environmental education to assess the short, medium and long-term environmental education outcomes. Since the launch of the project has been held: Partner Exchange Workshop, The Forum and photo exhibition for smog and our sky, Environmental education issues workshop, Excellence in environmental education: Guidelines for learning’s workshop.
