This project carried out from March 31, 2017 to December 31, 2017.The implementation results of this project are as below: Assisting the EPA continuously to promote the collection of low-carbon. This project also assists the EPA to redeem local government 88 electric compression refuse trucks and review the operation results, benefits and problems of electric compression refuse trucks to review and revise the procurement specifications of electric compression refuse trucks. This project also continued to collect general waste collection basic data of refuse trucks, manpower, collection modes and transportation routes from the information system and compiled information of refuse collection in the website of achievement for low carbon refuse truck from EPA to improve public convenience of inquiry.
For assisting EPA to promote B2 biodiesel used in refuse truck, this project held demo operations for using B2 biodiesel in five refuse trucks and analysis air pollutant. The test result is familiar with other project’s report. The project also developed the next phase plan of promoting the low carbon refuse collection and transportation.
