Water quality system (WQ system), is an important information system of EPA, which including monitoring data repositories of National Water Quality Monitoring Web, statistical data management and maintenance of Data Quality Assurance System, as well as a number of inter-agency water quality data exchange and electronic publishing services. Sustainable operation of the system need to rely on the work of sophisticated and routine maintenance, to enable the system to meet the policy objectives and the needs of the times, system upgrades, expansion, business development and system maintenance are eagerly required in order to keep the applicability of the system.
In this project, the following achievements are made to data analysis and demonstration: 1. Water quality evolution and seasonal variation of the select basins are analyzed by Seasonal Kendall Trend Test. 2. With the support of government Open-Data-Platform, the relational analysis of water quality and natural social environment data were well made. 3. Visualization charts for water quality monitoring data were evaluated with R.net and related packages. 4. Use Google Analytics to provide a specific point of view from user behaviors for the site configuration and adjustments.
In addition to the existing system maintenance, the project continuing to maintain and improve water quality website, data exchange system, as well as data quality assurance system to provide reliable, and sustainable service for government information publication and application.
