This project was implemented from March 14, 2018 to December 31, 2018. The major business included assisting Environmental Protection Bureau, Yunlin County to implement the garbage quantities reducing, general wastes administration report management, all kinds of identified targets coaching and management, and recycling educational activities. The identified targeted industries to be coached and managed by this project included, (1) Rule 15 of Waste Disposal Act, the responsibility industry should be responsible for the required recycling, cleanup and management (abbreviated as Responsibility industry）; (2) Rule 19 of Waste Disposal Act, trafficking industry should set the recycling equipment and implement recycling works of the identified materials and containers (abbreviated as Trafficking industry); (3) Rule 18 of Waste Disposal Act, we have assisted the wastes recycling responsibility industry defined by the item 2 in rule 15 to complete the claims, payments and ensured their recycling equipment inspected and their qualifications in accordance with the regulated recycling storage and management equipment standards. Meanwhile, we’ve aligned the works with the recycling educational activities, individual industries, communities, institutes and schools for the image reconstruction and garbage bag breaking check along the route of waste collection which have effectively improved the recycling works in the County. The recycling rate of 2018 achieved 48.23% with the growth of 4.10% than 2017. This is a new high record during the recent years.
We assisted Environmental Protection Bureau, Yunlin County to facilitate the enhanced recycling work performance review of institutes, including the initial review of the recycling works among 20 villages and townships in the County, difficult recycled materials deprivation, recycled tires for the environmental afforestation communities, recycled fans transferring to the subsidy institutes an recycled lanterns damaging preventive improvements etc. Also, we assisted the Environmental Protection Bureau to conduct the promotional events and reinforce the recycling of paper containers, general papers and recycled batteries to the indicated containers for storage and collection. Through this project, the quality of wastes disposal recycling works was effectively improved and we’ve made the flow of the resource recycling mechanism smoothly in the County.
