The project has completed the following main events and the results describe below:
1. The completed washing length of streets was 17,636.64 kilometers, and the completed sweeping length was 22,983.226 kilometers. The completed cleaning length of streets was 40,619.526 kilometers.
2. The total water consumption for streets’ washing was 19,466.96 tons. The water used per month was 1.07 to 1.14 tons/kilometer, and average water used per month was 1.10 tons/kilometer.
3. The collection of street dust amounted to 107.71 tons, and the average amounted to 4.77 kilograms/kilometer.
4. The streets washing task was completed 17,636.64 kilometers, and the estimating reduction of suspended particulate matter (TSP) was 243.4 tons. The streets sweeping task was finished 22,983.226 kilometers, and the estimating reduction of TSP was 317.1 tons. Hence, the streets cleaning operations of the project could reduce TSP about 560.5 tons.
5. The plan promoted 45 businesses to join the Yunlin County Adopt-A-Road program. The total execution length of adopted road amounted to 11,617.99 kilometers, and the estimating TSP reduction was about 160.33 tons.
6. In order to improve paving pollution resulted from agricultural machinery during farming season. We staged seven workshops of paving pollution prevention for rural communities which have larger harvest areas (attended persons total 465).
7. The plan executed general survey of streets pollution grade for 2084.8 kilometers (streets surveyed total 360) from January 2018 to December 2018. The major result showed the streets pollution grades of Yunlin County was A.
8. We examined 37 spots of streets dust loadings before and after the streets cleaning operations, and checked of water quality used for cleaning. The achieving rate of the project was 100%.
9. In order to enhance the peoples’ concept of autonomously improving pavement that polluted by the agricultural machines. We planned producing short films and expand popularizing area through promoting those media materials, and finally we’ll energize the peoples’ idea and behavior of environmental protection.
