The goal of this project was to assist the Environmental Protection Administration, Taiwan (EPAT) of the Executive Yuan organize activities related to the International Environmental Partnership and international cooperation. The results of the project are as follow:
1. Assisted EPAT in organizing the Asia-Pacific Mercury Monitoring Network (APMMN) meeting, the International E-Waste Management Network (IEMN) meeting, and the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP) meeting, and carried out administrative support related to the meetings. Furthermore, assisted GEEP with administrative work related to grant auditing and accounting.
2. Assisted EPAT with organizing information related to the IEP activities, such as creating Chinese/English manual to assist with IEP auditing, accompanying EPAT to hold working meeting with Asian Development Bank, updating English website for IEP and its affiliated programs, designing IEP brochures, establishing IEP activity database.
3. Assisted EPAT with organizing Taiwan-Japan Environmental Meeting, 19thAPEC Roundtable Meeting, and Sustainable Development Goals Meeting.
4. Created 10 documentary videos regards to EPAT’s international collaboration, and established IEP database.
The project implementing team has successfully completed the above tasks and provided improvement suggestions, such as invite foreign embassy to participate in future events, continue to update IEP database, strengthen program activities to reflect UN SDGs, and maintain communication with visited organizations.
