In order to keep the public understand control strategies and implementation of protecting water quality, and to facilitate the rapid access to governance information, the department of Water Quality Protection (WQPD) in EPA has established a dedicated official website in November 2016. With a large number of various designed figure or photos, the website aims to attract people to read text, and help people understand the water quality protection to promote the direction and effectiveness of efforts without distance.
For providing more information to public on the website, this project has finished five parts as following.
(1)For collecting the paper files and data from water environment construction projects, the water environment project management system is established. It provides project managers build the data and review the paper form each project.
(2)For collecting the paper and film files from water purification of on-site treatment projects, the project management system is established. It provides project managers review the paper on the line.
(3)To establish the function of the water quality by RPI for the Nankan River and Beigan River. The project collects the RPI data automatically from EPA opendata system. Futhermore, it presents the history and effect of the river remediation about Nankan River and Beigan River.
(4)To expand the function of official website, the project establishes “Water environment guarding net” which presents the expanding functions for patrol team with mapping the Patrol route and area. Otherwise, 144 items content updated are provided on the website in this project.
(5)7 training courses for 2 systems are hold at Taipei city, New Taipei City, Miaoli City, Taichung City and Tainan City. Keep maintaining systems and set the consultant phone in EPA’s business hours to provide the consultation service of building data.
