For 27 consecutive years since 1992, the Environmental Protection Administration （EPA） has been sponsoring the annual Enterprises Environmental Protection Award （EEPA） of the Republic of China. Up to this year, 400 organizations have been recognized for their outstanding performance in environmental protection, among which 49 organizations were honored with an EEPA for three consecutive years.
To accommodate a diversified business sector, this year AEEPA is divided into two groups. The criteria for the selection include three items: environmental protection planning and management, achievements in environmental protection, and promotion of public awareness of the importance of environmental protection work.
The recipients of this year's （2018） EEPA include 24 organizations. Striving to enhance environmental quality in Taiwan, the EPA has published the Summary of the EEPA Winners for Excellent Performance in Environmental Protection, which outlines the experiences of these organizations. In addition, the EPA will also sponsor demonstration seminars and site visits to some of the award-winning organizations' facilities, allowing the winners to share their experiences in promoting environmental protection.
