1. The Yunlin County Government has approved 541 operational licenses for 272 factories. The approved air pollutant emissions are 2,884.25 ton of particulate matters per year, 11,174.17 ton of sulfur oxides. 18,638 tons of nitrogen oxides, and 4,579.83 tons of volatile organic compounds per year.
2. A total of 38 processes are included in the air pollution fee plus species (oil boilers, coal-fired boilers or other combustion sources include particulate pollutants, lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic, hexavalent chromium and dioxin). Most of them are included in the air pollution charge because the fuel is fuel oil, wood chips or raw coal. Although the M04 process of Taihua Maihao Plant has no fuel, the process is a “catalyst reorganization procedure”, based on “fixed pollution source air”. 3.
