To continue strengthening risk map tool and promoting contaminated site management, this project was aimed to upgrade the capabilities of current “Risk Map Analyzing and Information Displaying Platform” by adding new features, such as buffer analysis, map overlay analysis, 2 new decision support modules (Remediation Performance Evaluation Module and Contaminated Site Redevelopment Module). Additionally, this project had developed several decision making indicators by utilizing the risk map analysis results and these indicators were used to select 3 stagnant demonstration sites that were suitable for conducting risk analysis and implementing risk management measures. All these implementation results and modalities can be used as future references for the local environmental competent authorities when in need to carry out the above mentioned related work. In view of the need for communication with the stakeholders, this project had proposed the expanding and counselling plan for risk communication, established public-private collaboration governance mechanism for risk assessment and enhanced the propaganda and training courses for risk analysis. Finally, this project had assisted the running of the Soil and Groundwater Health Risk Assessment Platform, which during the term, laws and regulations were being carefully discussed in order to shorten the time needed for reviewing the report.
