Managing include: 774 livestock farms nationwide have agreed to use treated digestates from livestock manure as agricultural fertilizer, while 171 livestock farms complied with the effluent standards for recycling irrigation water, and 112 livestock farms approved individual case reusing wastes of agriculture. Reducing 38 livestock fields which have two kinds resource, totally have 1,019 livestock fields nationwide approved resource. All resource water is 54.87 million ton, reaching a total irrigation area of 2,673 hectares. Moreover, the implemented program also reduced the amount of livestock manure discharged into rivers, reducing organic pollutant by 34,087tons/year. And nitrogen fertilizer recovery of 10.01 million tons/year which is equivalent to 156,176 pack of “Hey Won- nitrophosphate organic compound fertilizer”. This project promotes two counties: xikou township, chiayi county and neipu township, pingtung county. All livestock farm (19 fields) in xikou township have applied resource, stayed the last one get approve by the end of this year. Become the first township accomplish the goal about 100% livestock farm resourcing. In addition, the small scale livestock farm doesn’t have enough labor and equipment for wastewater treatment. EPA has the subsidy project: “Big scale livestock farm assist small scale livestock farm” and “Centralized treatment field”. Now, 1 Centralized treatment field in Hualien County; big scale livestock farm assist small scale livestock farm in Taoyuan has 1 field、Pingtung has 2 fields 、Yunlin has 5 fields.
