The implementation period of this program is from the date of signing the contract, June 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, and the overall work rate reached 100%, until February 27, 2020 which has achieved (1) to promote low-pollution vehicles to make people aware of low-pollution vehicles; (2) to integrate administrative resources and build friendly environment for the use of electric vehicles; (3) to strengthen air pollution prevention publicity and call on people to reduce the use of motor vehicles and cooperate with air pollution prevention and control work such as green transportation; (4) to handle large-scale activities and promote the four major planning goals such as low-polluting vehicles. The overall completed work items include: (1) collecting information on low-pollution transportation vehicles, green transportation, and green energy transportation environment promoted by the six domestic cities as well as UK, America, Japan and other foreign countries; studying and developing the promotion strategies and suggestions suitable for Taichung City; (2) following up and collecting the results of electric bus operation, controlling the data of operators, the number of vehicles, the actual mileage and the results of pollution reduction; (3) field inspection results data of the electric bus operation route (operating status); (4) collecting domestic and foreign data on promoting low-pollution transportation vehicles, green transportation, and building green energy transportation environment, and developing strategies and suggestions suitable for Taichung City; (5) inspecting 120 electric vehicle charging stations and 200 electric two-wheel vehicle charging stations in Taichung City; (6) holding 3 briefing sessions of applying for subsidy plans of setting up electric vehicle charging facilities; (7) site surveys, visits, and counseling 70 government agencies (or units) and private management establishments with high potential or promoting efficiency in setting up electric vehicle charging facilities; (8) reviewing and writing off 25 applications for electric vehicle charging facility installation subsidy plans; (9) Investigating statistics related to the number, proportion, purchase time, and service life of official vehicles belonging to various government agencies; (10) collecting and constructing analysis of official low-polluting vehicle operation data; (11) update and maintenance for Taichung Green Environmental Protection bureau webpage; (12) holding 1 visit activity; (13) Designing 2 propaganda posters and purchasing 6,000 promotion materials; (14) holding 10 low-pollution vehicle promotion activities; (15) writing 16 press releases and response drafts; (16) holding one press conference of Taichung City's response to World Car Free Day swearing event ; (17) holding each one of creative idea contest and selection review meeting; (18) trial running of a nearby Taichung State Hall ride-sharing event and holding a meeting to promote cooperation and trial ride-sharing; (19) holding 1 meeting to promote the participation of people or corporate groups in ride-sharing demo, and the related work meeting on responding to the trial ride-sharing; (20) convening 6 meetings to promote car-free zones / car-free days; (21) selecting 5 markets and business districts to test running car-free zones / car-free days; (22) proposing a feasibility report for promoting car-free zones / car-free day trials; (23) Car-free zones / car-free days air quality detection and investigation works in trial zones and implementation results report; (24) reports on results of trial work related to the promotion of car-free zones / car-free days; (25) educational outreach for 206 campuses (including 24 communities) lectures; (26) holding 5 key tasks such as communication, contact, research or explanation meetings.
