Our team has participated in the trial of the rubber asphalt flooring case in cooperation with a group teamed up by the Taiwan Construction Research Institute for over three years. The project has been through all kinds of maintenance for the rubber asphalt mixer and has plentiful experience in assembling and testing. Furthermore, the employee trainings of equipment operation are also considered mature. The research aims to focus on the improvements of the equipment’s process capability. Therefore, aside from the old equipment, in order to enhance the overall performance of production capacity and quality, improve the integrated cooperation with asphalt plants, as well as simplifying the production process so as to enhance the will of asphalt business using rubber asphalt, the research emphasizes six major issues, including cooperative ability, testing communications, supply of heat source, stir evenly in high speed, storage and reaction tank, and supply of rubber powder and traceability report. Base on the outcome of the rubber asphalt flooring project, rubber asphalt should enter the free market, in competition with the traditional asphalt and modified asphalt.
