The purpose of this project is to grasp the flow direction of chemical substances in Yunlin County, and further to prevent potential damages in various operation behaviors by the validated inspection. Through means of counseling, the management system in the factories of chemical substances could be strengthened to enhance the safety awareness of using chemical substances for operators and populace. Through means of propagandizing, the understanding of new regulations and disaster prevention concepts could be increased in the factories with operating toxicity and concerned-chemicals. In addition, this project will assist the Yunlin County Environmental Protection Agency to update the database of toxicity and concerned-chemicals for the improvement of chemicals source management.
The project includes the inspections of operational anomalies in upstream and downstream, the sampling of suspicious chemicals, the initiative visits to illegally operated manufacturers, the field confirmation of the basic information of chemical raw materials trading industries and the implementation of the four steps management, the validated inspection of chemical substances, the management enhancement of input operator and manufacturer, and the holdings of propaganda activities and exercises, etc. From the processing of this project, it could be expected that the management of chemical substance operations in Yunlin County could be positively mastered to reduce the occurrence of chemical unclear and food safety, and to give a good living environment for the citizens.
