This project is based on the perspective of the environmental protection department. The developed countries including the United States, the United Kingdom , Japan, Germany, Australia, South Korea and Canada related to climate change adaptation plans, strategies and project that are impacted by climate chang were investigated. By analysis of law, the division of labor, and the responsible organizations, it can be used as a reference for Taiwan to determine the development of climate change adaptation. By linking the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the contents of the climate change adaptation plan, the related businesses of environmental departments affected by the impact of climate change was reviewed. With air quality, water quality, waste management, soil and groundwater as the classifications, through adjustment decision–making tools, suggestions for climate change adjustment strategies were proposed. To consolidate the afore mentioned climate change adaptation plans, by inviting experts and scholars from related fields, industry, government and academic institutions to review or make suggestions. The achievements of environmental departments in sustainable development goals need to be strengthened. Currently, the preliminary results are including the investigation of foreign climate change adaptation plans and relevant experience, evaluatation of the environmental department's climate change projects, and the proposed adjustment strategies for the environmental department's business projects.
