This project aligns with the Environmental Protection Administration's Smart Government Promotion Policy and is part of the Smart Government One-Stop Platform (from 2021 to 2025). It aims to implement the Service-Oriented Smart Government 2.0 Promotion Project (from 2021 to 2025) as part of the medium- to long-term plan. This includes initiatives such as T-Road, MyData, and the New eID digital identity card (now modified to support multiple login services) in line with government policies. The goal is to gradually implement government digital transformation, enhance personal data sovereignty through the MyData and T-Road services of the Digital Ministry, streamline citizen application processes through diverse authentication systems, and improve public services through intelligent applications. The government leverages blockchain technology as the backbone to enhance trust between the government and citizens, providing better services and experiences to the public.
To effectively manage the budget for relevant technologies and promote smart government planning and transformation quality, this project served as a bridge between the Environmental Protection Administration's Department of Supervision Evaluation and Information Management and operational units (such as the Department of Waste Management, Environmental Professionals Training Institute, Department of Supervision Evaluation and Information Management, Department of Air Quality Protection and Noise Control, Toxic and Chemical Substances Bureau, and Department of Water Quality Protection). It assisted in communication, planning guidance, performance evaluation and compilation, quality management of deliverables, early-stage planning and operation control, system requirement planning, and dissemination of research and development achievements, adhering to the format requirements of the National Science Council and the Digital Ministry. This project completed technology project reviews, reviewed and set department-level goals and key results (OKRs), and compiled key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve the objectives set by the National Science Council and the Digital Ministry. This project also supported technical seminars and presentations of research outcomes related to technology projects, aiming to establish a public-private collaborative governance model for the next phase of digital government and achieve the goal of a citizen-centered digital government.
