This project follows through the research results of agriculture, fishery and medical wastes management strategies over the years, to continually follow up and inquiry into the situation of the recycling and reuse promotion of agricultural and fishery waste in every counties and cities; to assist in optimizing the recycling and reuse process, collect foreign management systems and regulations regarding medical wastes as a reference for ours to improve.
Regarding the wastes of agriculture and fishery industries, we’ve compiled the current cleaning issues of each counties and cities to bring forward countermeasures. About the 5 areas where waste agricultural film recycling finds difficulties, may establish recycling mechanism and conduct pilot operations; encourage farmers to improve the preparation works, and assist them to find matching recycling companies to clean up. Furthermore, in compliance with the “Ocean Taiwan” program to establish a list of fishery waste recycling companies and waste acceptance standards, for recycling units to find their matching recovery channels.
Set up a communication platform for agricultural and fishery waste recycling to include experts, scholars, and technical professionals from the industry, government, academia, and technology companies in the consultation list to effectively prompt the cross-departmental joint research on the promotion direction of agricultural and fishery waste recycling policies. Moreover, to complete the revised agricultural waste promotion website for reading-friendly interfaces.
The discussion on the comparison between foreign systems on biomedical waste management mechanism and ours has completed; and has proposed the amendments to improve the management regulations. In addition, the collection of laws, regulations and case examples in advanced foreign countries to verify the suitability of our management methods in Taiwan is also done; meanwhile, we’ve completed the registration and monitoring status of domestic clinics, as well as the statistical analysis on waste volume produced and the cleanup flows, which shows that the current waste management system in our country is tending towards perfection.
