1. Held Meetings of Air Quality Maintain and Improve for observation review
Based on the analysis of air pollution characteristics and complaint types in Pingtung County, the project set 2 major issues for review. The first one is the discussion of the warning and alarm system for air quality in Pingtung. The second is the discussion of control methods or measures for improving the pollution source. A two-day meeting of Air Quality Maintenance and Improvement for observation review was held on November 27 and 28. The total number of participants was 30.
2. Purchase Air Odor Pollutants Sampling Equipment
According to the requirements of the work content, the project has purchased 2 vacuum pumps, 2 dry air sampler, 2 sets of anemoscopes, 1 laptop, and related accessories. The acceptance check was completed in December 2020.
3. Air Pollution Sampling Training
According to Environmental Law No. 1000098375, the “Triangular Odor Bag method(NIEA A201.14A)”, the project held 2 air pollution sampling training on December 2 and 12, 2020 with a total of 58 participants. It is recommended that the bureau continue to conduct air pollution sampling training from time to time to strengthen the accuracy and process of air odor sampling.
4. Air Pollution Prevention and Control Education Promotion
To achieve the goal of educating people about air pollution prevention and control, the project set a stand to promote the concept in places like environmental education training, family day of environmental prevention activities, volunteer conference, and rabies prevention activities. The stand was held on September 29, October 17, October 31, and November 28 with a total of 412 people involved in the promotion.
