This project reviewed the content of noise control regulations and established principles or specifications for the identification of low noise machinery. Assisted the EPA in the promotion of various noise prevention facilities in construction projects, and understood the introduction of low-noise machinery or construction methods in environmental impact assessment cases. In addition, the relevant standards and research literatures on sound reduction or sound insulation measures for construction projects were reviewed. Foreign practices for establishing low-noise construction machinery identification method were compared and the domestic method were drafted. Visited 5 constructions that adopted low-noise equipment or related sound reduction methods. Measured and analyzed the noise reduction effect in 3 construction site which use low-noise equipment or noise reduction construction methods. Produced 5 groups of construction soundproof facilities and verified their sound reduction effects. Assisted the EPA in compiling and tracking the current status of noise complaints from construction projects in counties and cities. Compared the contents of Noise Control Act Article 8 and Article 9 items which announced by local governments.
