Due to the expansion of requirement about water affairs, the system has been reviewed about its function, process and interfaces to improve the efficiency, friendliness and security since 2018. In this project, the functions of the system were optimized and transferred to official host. It was made sure the affairs system still working as usual and data are suitable of current situation. After that, the efficacy and efficiency of decision and execution could become maximization.
In this project, the establishment of 91 functions was completed and 3 targets were achieved. First, the functions of notice were improved according to different groups of users by automatically sending E-mail. Also, the functions of management and inquiry for controlled target were developed.
Second, the advice by user and the research for improving service could enhance the entireness and correctness of each status of application and audit. Meanwhile, preceding procedures were finished before the transferring of system.
Finally, Water Quality Protection Geographic Information System and Abnormal Water Quality Promulgation System visualized data by geospatial system. It led the decision making for watershed management and the efficacy of tracking water pollution source to a brand new milestone. This project kept maintaining and renewing related data to provide the information of decision making for water quality protection. It helped each level of environment protection agency managing water pollution events and emergency response in practice with the tools of the system.
