In response to chemical substance advocacy this year, A total of six awareness campaigns and two food safety risk education sessions were held to promote public understanding of "understanding chemical substances in life" to prevent non-food additive chemicals from flowing into the food supply chain. The six advocacy activities were mainly aimed at the people of Jinhu Town, Jinning Township and Lieyu Township, with a total of 326 people participating, advocating the correct safe use and protection of chemical substances through how to divide edible grade additives, common illegal additives in life and general answer methods, so as to achieve comprehensive advocacy results and implement the vision of maintaining people's health and environmental safety. The advocacy briefing was to invite Professor Li Zhengda of Fuying University of Science and Technology to address "How much do you know about dangerous chemical additives?" The topics were explained, and the two publicity briefings were mainly aimed at the people of Kinmen City and the peaceful community in Jincheng Town, with a total of 127 people participating, so that the participants had a safe use concept of the chemical substances often used in life, so as to further root the concept of chemical safety, and then achieve the goal of preventing the flow of chemical substances with food safety risks into the food chain to maintain national health.
Conducted one "Disaster Rescue and Response Drill for Toxic Chemical Substances" this year. Participating units include Kinmen County Environmental Protection Bureau, Kinmen County Health Bureau, Kinmen County Fire Bureau, Jinhu Branch of Fire Bureau, Zhongqu Environmental Accident Professional and Technical Group of the Bureau of Toxics and Chemical Substances of the Environmental Protection Department of the Executive Yuan, and Jijia Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. Through live military exercises, we will enhance the concept of emergency prevention and control of accidents involving the transport of toxic chemicals, strengthen the handling judgment and joint response capabilities of government competent government agencies and relevant response units, and strengthen the effectiveness of the joint defense mechanism of mutual support and joint defense organizations in the industry and be familiar with emergency rescue and evacuation actions, and effectively use disaster relief resources, manpower and equipment from all walks of life to strengthen the overall disaster relief capability and reduce the damage caused by poison disasters and environmental pollution.
