The results of project implementation are summarized as following:
In respect of unregistered container entities inspection, this project submitted 632 responsible entities who were suspicious of not registed. Among them, there were 624 container product entities and 8 flat container entities.
To include the blister lining and clamshell into regulated recyclables containers, it was recommended to follow the flat container management because of the difficulty in identifying the levy target. Among the 32 beverage cup suppliers for the top 10 beverage companies in Taiwan, there were 12 unregistered entities. According to the results of secret investigation, the municipal cleaning crew accept all unsorted recyclables. In addition, the project had assisted 34 cases of container’s responsibility interpretations.
In order to realize the current situation of the waste container trading market prices, the waste container collectors and self-employed individuals the purchase and flow channels surveys had been completed. The project had collected the disclosures information of resource recovery price in Korea and the relevant domestic market indicators. Also analyzed the impact of selling price announcements for self-employed individuals.
According to the distribution investigation of waste containers through the cooperation of collectors and recyclers, this project estimated total quantities of uncertified but collected, cleanup but not collected and wastes. And submitted the improving strategy for the waste container material whose recycle rate was low. In addition, the project had collected calculation methods for the recycling rate of waste containers in the European Union, Japan and the United States.
Besides, the information of high-value foreign waste container recycling technology and cross-industry alliance case had been collected, and provided improving suggestions for domestic recycling system.
