The implementation period for this plan runs from April 21 to November 30, 2020, which is to mainly to assist the Environmental Protection Bureau of Yunlin County to conduct those items of work businesses as: (1) carry out checks and guided counseling tasks among the execution operators, and furnish assignments of implemented tasks as many as 45 cases with responsible operators on its own. Besides, 38 cases were referred from other counties and cities, and 46 cases requested by the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA). In addition, 353 establishments from 14 major mega-market operators were inspected and checked, while 37 vendors’ suppliers of electronic and electrical appliances were counseled and provided guidance as they turn to using online duplicate form of over-printing operations. In addition, the bureau has also checked 279 vendors of mercury thermometers and medical institutions placed under control for surveillance, and so as 428 sellers of dry cell batteries.(2)For the part to strengthen community recycling system, it should continue to improve the effectiveness of village/local recycling stations set up over the years, totaling 53 stations. With statistics by the end of October of 2020, the total amount of recycle volume has reached 215 metric tons, with its recycle amount grown significantly. In addition, resources recovery station is matched to set up in three respective areas as Bade Neighborhood of Douliu City, Yongfeng Village of Taixi Township, and Keliao Village of Kouhu this year. Besides, resource recovery care plan is sponsored, and 60 people have signed up this year, with a total of 134,630 kgs of recycle materials collected, which has achieved the execution rate of funding as 81.23%. Furthermore, the project has worked with EPA in terms of "Paper Tableware Recycling Friendly Shops Subsidization Plan”, with 205 bento (meal-box) and buffet businesses within the jurisdiction checked out. Also, a session of briefing on subsidy program was sponsored with reference to those 107 eligible businesses that meet subsidy requirements. After then, the second-phase investigation was carried out, and a total of 65 business operators participated in the subsidy program, with a press conference held on series of results release on November 25.(3)For promotion activities, the project completed a session of empowerment training course for foreign seed instructors on June 21, while and a total of 5 sessions of educational promotion events on resource recovery were also completed of hosting. Through teaching aids and simple picture cards, they help promote related knowledge and understanding towards resource recovery among foreign immigrant works and new immigrants. In addition, a presentation on the results was held on November 22.
