The IER was entrusted with the 2020 Analysis of Environmental Impact Assessment and Decision-making Supporting Project by the Environmental Protection Administration to provide crucial assistance, including data collection and analysis, for the EIA committee’s reviewing process. The purposes of this project were to improve the efficiency of the review process.
The project team has completed the following works: 1) the hiring of specialists, 2) monthly progress reports of data collection, 3) 6 professional assessment advices targeting geology items, base geology investigation, geology safety assessment report and other contents within the assessment report.
The project team assisted in 18 topics regarding the EIA consultation, 18 cases of legal consultation, and 150 cases of fuzzy text screening process.
