To adapt to the impact of urgency of reducing the amount of disposable plastic products , this project collect opinions and suggestions from the industry, the public sector, the academia, NGOS and the public to actively promote the “Plastic Restriction Issues”. To reach the target, the project include holding a working group meeting, and three sessions of 'The Citizen Café on Plastic Restriction Issue', respectively in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung. The results are listed as followed,
I. Completed the 'Working group meeting'
1.The 'Working group meeting' was held on February 25, 2022. The content includes: determining discussable topics, making sure the mechanism of the Citizen Café, and collecting opinions of the group leaders to improve process of the activity.
2.Before the 'The Citizen Café on Plastic Restriction Issue' is held, submitted the activity plan to the Environmental Protection Administration for approval on January 21, 2022.
II. Completed the Taipei session of 'The Citizen Café on Plastic Restriction Issue'
1.The Taipei session of 'The Citizen Café on Plastic Restriction Issue' was held on March 3, 2022. The total count of participants, with the host, group leaders, and all the workers excluded, was 89.
2.The main work content includes: arranging and contacting the group leaders, inviting the participants, training the recorder, summing up records from each group and providing necessary administrative support, such as arranging the event location, preparing for the snacks and etc.
III. Completed the Taichung session of 'The Citizen Café on Plastic Restriction Issue'
1.The Taichung session of 'The Citizen Café on Plastic Restriction Issue' was held on March 14, 2022. The total count of participants, with the host, group leaders, and all the workers excluded, was 67.
2.The main work content includes: arranging and contacting the group leaders, inviting the participants, training the recorder, summing up records from each group and providing necessary administrative support, such as arranging the event location, preparing for the snacks and etc.
IV. Completed the Kaohsiung session of 'The Citizen Café on Plastic Restriction Issue'
1.The Kaohsiung session of 'The Citizen Café on Plastic Restriction Issue' was held on March 31, 2022. The total count of participants, with the host, group leaders, and all the workers excluded, was 59.
2.The main work content includes: arranging and contacting the group leaders, inviting the participants, training the recorder, summing up records from each group and providing necessary administrative support, such as arranging the event location, preparing for the snacks and etc.
