The content of this project is a continuous work to provide the inventory, assessment and monitoring related works of the existing and newly built the air quality purification zone from March 11th, 2021 to January 26th , 2022. This project has completed 51 times in total of maintenance assessment on site investigation of the green wall and and updating related information of the local environmental protection bureau's maintenance assessment result back to EPA regularly in order to assist EPA to best control of the project status. Sensors have been installed at Eco-Sport Park in Lugang Town and "Greening No. 656, Pitou Section, Pitou Town in air quality purification zones in Changhua County. These sensors which monitored varieties of the change in carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere and temperature and analyzed the benefits of setting up of the air purification zone on improvement for air quality.We will build up a vertical greening wall in a public long-term care institution as the demonstration areas and continuous maintenance in the north, middle and south area of Taiwan. The investigation of ecological inspection mechanism , operational manual, and the conditions of plan reviewing and controlling mechanism that did not have to go through ecological inspection were completed. Strategies of investigation for greener living and working plans of national greener living were completed. This project summarized the results, combined the working plans of locals, established in handling air quality purification zones and green wall results evaluation methods of various counties and cities were completed.Updating the information of the plant nursery website related record regularly in order to provide tracking the progress of each nursery site’s implementation of the plan, the number of plants distributed, and planting locations recording, etc.The total allocation of tending trees was counted in 8,774 (allocation rate 34.39%) until the end of December. 6 sites investigation of nurseries were completed during August 30th to 31th, and submitted reports of the site investigation results.Investigated 5 ecological sample area from the outlet of the downstream of Zhuoshuixi Xibin Bridge to the Zhongsha Bridge which including territorial waters (fishes, shrimps and crabs), terrestrial ( plants, birds, reptiles, etc) were completed. The newly-increasing green wall was set up to 40 square meters. Approximately 400 people participated in 5 promotion activities or information meeting. We have also held ten events of “Seeding teacher”training sessions and more than 710 participants. 68 sites investigation and inspection of annual best maintenance of the Aquapu site adoption in 2021 were completed in September to October.We have held Aquapu Area maintenance assessment forum and awards ceremony for recognizing excellence in Aquapu site adoption,of which 65 were shortlisted for the awards, which are to be presented at a ceremony.
This project conducted implementation of plan and achievement report according to the Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan’s fourth article of the labor procurement contract of the“Survey and Evaluation of Annual Air Quality Purification Zone and Air Wall Demonstration Project in 2021”.
