The Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan (EPA) aims to promote high quality public toilet policies and environmental cleanliness inspections. Therefore, this project assisted in the establishment of national archives of public toilet environmental sanitation inspections, handling 920 public toilet visits, tracking the environmental sanitation maintenance of public toilets in counties and cities, and uploading it to EcoLife website in time. This project also did lots of activities and research, including researching and analyzing public toilet environmental sanitation management practices, implementing the Internet of Things (IoT) into 6 public toilets, and improving public toilet management efficiency, assisting in environmental sanitation promotion and media promotion, handling county and city environmental protection agencies consultation meetings, collecting local opinions to improve public toilet policies. Furthermore, in order to increase the capacity of local business units and promote business smoothly, this project handled press conferences, public toilet management and cleaning education and training. For the promotion of future public toilet management policies, this project assisted in 6 public toilet policy briefings across Taiwan and promoted the future direction of the EPA. In addition to propagating to business management units, this project also cooperated with Formosa TV's program called YiYanTang. The related reports broadcasted on Formosa TV News Channel and wireless stations to promote the results of the EPA's improvement of public toilets, reaching about 460,000 people in total. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic this year, considering the priority of epidemic prevention and the health and safety of the people, this project stopped the environmental cleanliness assessment and public toilet evaluation activities. In the second half of this year, with the epidemic slowdown, this project held the award ceremonies in towns, cities, and villages to encourage and express thanks to those who devoted to environmental sanitation.
