In response to the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the Environmental Education Act this (2021) year, the Environmental Protection Administration with various ministries and associations and 22 counties of the environmental protection bureaus, jointly organized the "Environmental Education 10 Years X Green Life Carnival" exhibition from October 30th to November 2nd. It was exhibited in the East 2A to East 2D Pavilions of Huashan 1914 Creative Park. In addition to showing the achievements of environmental education from all walks of life in the past 10 years, there were daily non-stop dramas and performances, hand-made courses and films. The total of 4,889 people visited the exhibition. The exhibition shows the practical way of green life through the life situation, so that the public can experience and know how to implement green life and the environmental protection action. Before the exhibition, there were 3 online activities and 1 workshop held to improve the public's environmental literacy and enhance the efficiency of the exhibition.
With the theme of "Green Life", the "Green Life Party" was held in the Zhongxing Cultural and Creative Park of Yilan County on September 25, from "green tourism", "green diet", "green consumption", "green home" and "green office". The 5 aspects are to teach the public to practice green actions in daily life such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, music, shopping. A total of 915 people participated in the event.
The "Green Life Party" enhances the public’s awareness of environmental protection, and to encourage the public to implement green life in their daily lives and create a better life.
In order to enable "environmental education" to adopt different promotion models for different objects, we planned and designed an animal doll as a virtual spokesperson for environmental education, symbolizing the knowledgeable owl and the second-level conservation category of Taiwan's unique subspecies of horned owl , The combination of "owl" and "doctor" is named as "Dr. Owl", which symbolizes the intelligent spokesperson, which can pass the correct knowledge of environmental education to the public, and can change the accessories and actions of the spokesperson according to the needs of different themes.
