廢輪胎橡膠分類再生與高值循環應用於環保輸送帶研發

中文摘要 台灣每年約有15萬噸廢輪胎產出,但因廢輪胎的品牌、種類和組成分相當複雜,若不經分類直接轉製成再生橡膠,會導致橡膠製品品質不穩甚至變差之問題產生,因此仍無法大量去化廢輪胎。為提升廢輪胎之去化量,本計畫利用低能耗連續式雙螺桿解鏈再生製程開發轎車胎、貨卡車胎和機車胎三大類再生橡膠,並評估其循環應用於輸送帶產品之橡膠配方與再交鏈之機械性質。研發成果詳述如下: 1.完成廢輪胎料源分類再生與檢測分析,將廢輪胎區分成貨卡車胎、轎車胎及機車胎三類,並經破碎加工後以連續式雙螺桿押出機開發出三種廢輪胎再生橡膠。實驗結果顯示卡車胎再生膠溶膠含量貨約6.1 %,解交鏈度約72%;轎車胎再生膠溶膠含量約15.3%,解交鏈度約79%;機車胎再生膠溶膠含量約17.1%,解交鏈度約84%;熱重損失分析(TGA)結果顯示廢輪胎橡膠再生前後的含膠率、揮發物、填充劑量無明顯變化,表示橡膠解鏈再生製程不會改變橡膠原始的組成分或有副產物產生。 2.將三種廢輪胎再生橡膠依照CNS 2230規範進行物性檢測。實驗結果顯示貨卡車再生橡膠之密度1.15 (Mg/m3),抗拉強度9.86 MPa,伸長率347%,抗拉強度保持率107%,物性符合BT類要求;轎車再生橡膠之密度1.108(Mg/m3),抗拉強度6.62 MPa,伸長率282%,抗拉強度保持率72%,物性符合BP類要求;機車再生橡膠之密度1.105(Mg/m3),抗拉強度4.12 MPa,伸長率155%,抗拉強度保持率48%,物性符合C1類要求。 3.將三種廢輪胎再生橡膠循環應用於輸送帶面膠和層膠配方開發。實驗結果顯示,輸送帶面膠新膠摻混貨卡車再生橡膠比例達25%狀態下,編號CVC/DTT-04-25面膠的門尼黏度約50;比重約1.173(Mg/m3);抗張強度約156(kgf/cm2);伸長率約416.3 (%);硬度約48 (shore A);耐臭氧達A1等級;老化後之拉伸強度保持率約80%;老化後之拉伸長率保持率約77%。輸送帶層膠新膠摻混貨卡車再生橡膠比例達30%狀態下,編號CVL/DTT-04-30層膠的硬度約48 (shore A);比重約1.189(Mg/m3);抗張強度約61 (kgf/cm2);伸長率約611.8 (%);撕裂強度約24 (kgf/cm2);橡膠與纖維布的抗剝離強度約15 (kgf/inch)。

Waste tires classification, devulcanization and cyclic application for conveyor belt.

英文摘要 The covalent cross-linking of tire rubbers is prerequisite for acquiring high elasticity and environmental resistance. However, the irreversibility of these chemical cross-links make the recycling of tire rubber products inherently difficult, which is a persistent obstacle encountered in thermosetting polymers. About 150 thousand tons of waste rubbers is scrapped each year in domestic, the bulk of which is incinerated for lowefficiency energy recovery and dumped as landfill, causing serious environmental pollution and resource wastage. This project was developed the three kinds of devulcanized rubber including truck tires, car tires and motor tires by twin-screw extruder. Also, the three kinds of reclaimed rubber will be formulated with virgin rubber and re-cured to evaluate its mechanical properties for conveyor belt application. 1. Completed the continuous devulcanization process of truck tires, car tires and motor tires. Experimental results suggest that the reclaimed rubber of truck tires sol component content is about 6.1%, decrosslinking degree is about 72%; car tires sol component content is about 15.3%, decrosslinking degree is about 79%; motor tires sol component content is about 17.1%, decrosslinking degree is about 84%. TGA analysis for before and after devulcanization of waste tire rubber, indicated the polymer, volatiles and filler content showed not much different between pristine and reclaimed rubber. No increasing volatiles indicated no add other chemical additives or process oil in de-vulcanization process. 2. Evaluated the physical properties of reclaimed rubber according to CNS 2230. Experimental results suggest that the reclaimed rubber of truck tires’s density is about 1.15 Mg/m3, tensile strength is about 9.86 MPa, elongation at break is about 347%, and tensile strength retention rate is about 107% which attain to comply with a CNS 2230 BT type requirements; reclaimed rubber of car tires’s density is about 1.108 Mg/m3, tensile strength is about 6.62 MPa, elongation at break is about 282%, and tensile strength retention rate is about 72% which attain to comply with a CNS 2230 BP type requirements; reclaimed rubber of motor tires’s density is about 1.105 Mg/m3, tensile strength is about 4.12 MPa, elongation at break is about 155%, and tensile strength retention rate is about 48% which attain to comply with a CNS 2230 C1 type requirements. 3. Evaluated the cyclic application of reclaimed rubber for conveyor belt’s cover layer blends and middle layer blends. Experimental results suggest that the 75% reclaimed rubber of truck tires were formulated with 25% virgin rubber. The physical properties of cover layer blends (CVC/DTT-04-25) that the mooney viscosity is 50, density is about 1.173 Mg/m3, tensile strength is 156 kgf/cm2, elongation at break is about 416.3%, tear strength is 46 kgf/cm2, abrasion resistance is 196 mm3, hardness (Shore A) is 61, ozone-resistant deterioration grade is A1, tensile strength retention is about 80%, and elongation retention is about 77%. The physical properties of middle layer blends (CVL/DTT-04-30) that the hardness (Shore A) is 48, density is about 1.189 Mg/m3, tensile strength is 61 kgf/cm2, elongation at break is about 611.8 %, tear strength is 24 kgf/cm2, and rubber adhesion to textile fabrics is about 15 kgf/inch.
