Cause hazardous industrial waste with its own noxious constituents and properties, this project checks the treatment process of hazardous industrial waste to propose strengthening direction. With the development of industries, mass amount of LCD panels are manufactured and wasted. Researches show the hazardous properties of waste LCD and long-term environmental effects. With proper treatments, the precious metals inside the LCD panels can be recycled and achieve the win-win situation. Key points include:
1.To examine the regulations of waste intermediate treatments, check the current treatment procedure of hazardous industrial waste and review the technology requirements from abroad.
2.Compile the direction for hazardous waste definition including classifying, rules of definition, corresponding technologies and regulations.
3.To propose the best recycling route, collect literatures regarding properties of waste LCD panel and investigate the domestic treatment process.
4.To collect opinions, convene meetings of advisory specialist and visit factories in needs.
