This year's project plan, developed in conjunction with the Environmental Protection Administration's "Green Living" initiative, focuses on the environmental education theme of "Sustainable Green Living in Satoumi." Through the nine sub-projects of this plan, our team has divided them into three major work items: "Sustainable Management of Environmental Education," "Public Empowerment of Environmental Education," and "Cross-Border Environmental Education Action." From cultivating positive environmental attitudes and action capabilities, accumulating environmental knowledge, to practicing action, we combine the power of the local environmental education community in Penghu to actively promote and increase environmental education energy among people of all ages and organizations in one city and five townships in the county. We aim to enhance the environmental education literacy of county residents and practice green living, achieving the vision of sustainable environmental development.
This project plan is scheduled to be implemented from February 17, 2021 to November 30, 2021, and all sub-projects are planned to be completed and executed according to the schedule. However, in mid-May 2021, some of the sub-projects of this year's plan (such as the Environmental Volunteer/Group Support Plan) were temporarily suspended by the Environmental Protection Administration due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the implementation of the project, environmental festival activities (International Day for Biological Diversity, World Environment Day) involving physical interaction, volunteer training and contact management, and environmental knowledge competitions were affected by the pandemic, and the implementation process was switched to online or postponed. After the downgrade of the pandemic management, the remaining sub-projects accelerated their related events and were successfully completed.
