To support various environmental education certificate review processes, facilitate the application process, and improve the efficiency of
certificate review, the Environmental Professionals Training Institute of the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, established the Environmental Education Certificate System in 2011. This system provided functions including online certificate/renew application for the public, as well as review and management functions for the administrations of the certificate system.
This project provided a customer service hotline to meet users’ requirements, resolving system operation problems and further improving
service quality. Customer feedback was compiled and analyzed in various aspects to serve as a reference to revise the content of system FAQ,providing effective feedback to users. Affected by the pandemic, the details of responding measures for customer service, application analysis during the pandemic, and system maintenance were described in Chapter 2 of this report.
In 2021, in addition to maintaining the original system functions, this project completed the function optimization. The optimization included effectively utilizing environmental education personnel, developing a platform for environmental education talents, and establishing a function to display the personal experiences of environmental education personnel. The display function was to provide talents’ information for organizations in need. In addition, the platform was enriched with numerous functions, such as a media platform for promotional materials of environmental education and an extension management subsystem. Moreover, the system functions were adjusted to match the teaching materials of environmental education personnel. This project continued to provide system data connection services, optimize system functions, and maintain IT equipment software and hardware. This project also assisted in the compilation, statistics, and submission of data related to environmental education certificate to effectively support organization administration and enhance overall service effectiveness. The details of functional development and optimization of each subsystem were introduced in Chapter 3 of this report.
