There are a total of 454 animal husbandry companies in Kaohsiung City that have pasture registration certificate or livestock and poultry breeding registration certificate. Currently, 450 are in operation and 4 are temporarily suspended. Among the 450 operating companies, 360 have obtained basic emission permits, including 323 swine farming (including 3 with less than 200 swines), 30 cattle farming and 7 companies with other species (duck, sheep, horses, and deer).
