Since January 28, 2022, we have been assisting the Squadron to perform the related work and have completed the following as of December 16: A. the executive agencies have strengthened the performance assessment of source
reduction and resource recovery work, including the collection of county and city performance practices, with 110 examples collected from the city and 151 examples collected from other counties and cities; 2. we conducted
performance assessment of resource recovery work of each work squadron and to conduct a briefing session on resource recovery performance assessment on February 18. On March 28, we held an educational training on resource
recovery performance evaluation and completed three data checks on April 22, July 22 and November 10, respectively, to keep track of the implementation status of the squadrons in each district on a quarterly basis in order to help achieve the targe; 3. we have strengthened resource recycling practices in remote areas (Fuxing District). A resource recycling station was set up in Kuei-Hui Borough and opened in September and two exchange activities have been completed; 4. we have organized the promotion and outreach of resource recovery stations in fishing harbors in the city. We have completed 16 promotion sessions of resource recovery through promotional vans at fishing harbors and 44 sessions of promotion/gift exchange activities at the resource recovery stations in Yongan Fishing Harbor and Zhuwei Fishing Harbor, with a total of 3,215 participants; 5. a total of 93 elementary and middle schools participated in the inter-school recycling competition for recycling waste batteries and tech devices. In addition, for the purpose of source reduction in school campuses, this year, we specially assisted Chung Yuan Christian University and National Central University to hold a second-hand market exchange activity on campus and invited other colleges and universities and high schools to conduct benchmark and learning sessions for the activity site through the second-hand market to fully propagate the way of holding source reduction awareness activities on campus. 6. Provision of counseling for the exchange of second-hand goods in the city's colleges and universities, and completed counseling and surveys on the websites or entities of second-hand goods in colleges and universities for a total of three sessions to grasp the exact number of exchanges in the city's schools on the Internet or physical platforms; 7. Mobile Resource Recycling Outreach Promo Vehicle: a total of 38 activities have been completed, with promotional activities conducted in scenic areas, villages, schools, company sites and shopping malls, etc. The vehicle and team have ventured into different locations to fully inform the public about the city's recycling projects and recycling channels and gradually increase the recycling capacity and momentum; 8. Promoted recycling work in residential (including community or building) complexes. Total completion of counseling for 25 community image transformations. In addition, we provided subsidies for sorting facilities and greening of resource recovery stations to improve the labeling and aesthetics; 9. planned the city's resource recovery pipeline and announcement of waste recovery programs. Analysis was conducted on the city's garbage collection situation along scheduled routes and the division of
labor in the future EPA's promotion of the resource recovery promotion plan and the analysis of the city's source reduction and resource recovery operations and proposed strategies; 10. strengthened the city's Recycling-For-Goodies and resource recycling awareness promotion activities, cooperated with public agencies, schools, shopping malls, recreation areas and large-scale events and completed a total of 12 recycling promotion activities. We also submitted a report on the results of the promotion activities on October 6. We designed and printed 12,000 copies of each multi-language waste separation and source reduction posters in accordance with official guidelines. We also collaborated with NOVA's recycling activities for unwanted tech devices, with a total of 673 laptops, 993 mobile phones, 172 tablets and 270 kilograms of dry batteries were collected through December 16. This program compiles monthly resource recovery data for the month and collects resource recovery practices from other counties and cities as a reference. Most of the work involves assisting the authorities to control the number and rate of implementation of resource recovery activities. The project has been implemented in cooperation with the Taoyuan City Environmental Cleaning Inspection Brigade. Given the limited budget of the local government, In light of the complexity and heavy workload, as well as our limited manpower and funds, we have fully utilized all human resources available to cooperate with the brigade's operations in order to achieve the goal of smooth implementation of the program.
