Several tasks have been completed as part of this project, including a site visit of a public nuisance dispute case and handling an adjudication conference to assist the Environmental Protection Agency’s arbitration committee in resolving public nuisance dispute cases more factually and sufficiently. A seminar and three educational training sessions were conducted to enhance the professional knowledge and practical experience exchange of environmental protection personnel and the ability to hold public nuisance dispute mediation meetings. In addition, emphasized maintaining the content and strengthening information security of the public nuisance dispute handling system, completed an English version for the users, and focused on the need of users to improve the website interface design and user experience. Also, optimizing the information system of the public nuisance dispute and the linkage to the relevant information disclosure platform of the Environmental Protection Agency to assist in the statistics of the number of public nuisance dispute cases. In accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency, administered the handling of public nuisance incidents, monitored the follow-up processing methods of the environmental protection units, as well as assisted the environmental protection bureaus of counties and cities in updating the relevant information. Furthermore, experts and scholars were invited to provide legal advice on public nuisance, answered the three cases, and compiled cases associated with public nuisance pollution to strengthen the public nuisance dispute system database. In the end, graphic materials and relevant news cases related to public nuisance disputes were gathered and produced on social networking sites and fan clubs to promote the public nuisance dispute business.
