This study is to implement the plan of the third year of the APEC Chemical Dialogue of the Toxic and Chemical Substances Bureau, Environmental Protection Administration Executive Yuan (hereinafter referred to as the TCSB).
To fully understand the topics discussed by Chemical Dialogue, translate five documents that are highly relevant to Chemical Dialogue, such as "Adherence to OECD Mutual Acceptance of Data (MAD) System”; ”Advancing Supply Chain Transparency for Chemicals in Products”; ”2021 CTI Report to Ministers”; ”APEC Chemical Trade Flows Paper”; ”Green Chemistry and Sound Chemicals Management”, etc. This study also collects APEC sub-forums related to chemical substance management, as well as links with international organizations.
On the other hand, in order to further deepen participation in CD, this study plans project for possible applications in accordance with the format of the APEC concept note.
In addition to enhancing the visibility of government departments in the international arena, the TCSB also considers the feasibility of increasing private enterprises to participate in CD in the future. Therefore, it holds industry expert symposiums and lectures on international chemical substance management trends to promote industry awareness of CD.
