The main objectives of this program are to collect international primary products management related prevention and reduction measures, to establish baseline data on primary plastic products in Taiwan, to assist in the planning and promotion of source reduction related control measures for primary products including primary beverage cups, etc. In addition, to promote the concept of source reduction of general waste, we have promoted the election of green night markets, secret customer visits and recognition. The main achievements include: (1) Collecting and analyzing international policies, laws, and measures related to primary products reduction, plastic restriction, plastic particulate and biodegradable plastic control, establishing baseline data on domestic primary products, and proposing proposals for refining domestic primary products control regulations and plastic reduction policy blueprints. (2) Assist in researching and proposing the direction of amendments or draft proposals of regulations and supporting measures related to the source reduction of domestic single-use products such as single-use beverage cups, no-wash tableware, plastic bags for shopping, naked fruit and vegetable sales, travel and lodging industry spare parts, and outlying island reduction, and assist in the related operations, as well as assist in promoting administrative agencies and schools to reduce the use of no-wash tableware and packaged drinking water operation guidelines. (3) Assist in the promotion of green night markets, and conduct night market voting and secret customer visits, and select the top 10 green night markets in 111 years for awards. (4) Continuously track and guide the announced general waste reduction measures at source. (5) Organize meetings, promotion and press conferences related to the reduction of single-use products, and assist in the promotion of recycling cup borrowing services.
