112 years Taichung City Prevention of Open Burning Waste Inspection Control and Improvement Audit Specialized Capacity Plan (hereinafter referred to as the Scheme) aims to curb air pollution by applying technology-based evidence collection tools to conduct illegal disposal site monitoring operations. Through drone licence training, air pollution case inspection practice and technology collection and application related training courses, the project aims to enhance the professional capabilities of inspectors, support monitoring equipment, 3D modeling software and other technological equipment, assist in the grading assessment and inspection of illegal abandoned sites, and avoid unscrupulous operators from burning waste after disposal, resulting in air pollution.
A total of 148 inspections were carried out for 33 illegal abandoned sites, and 27 sites still needed to be continuously inspected according to the inspection results, and the weight of the graded assessment was ≧ 5: 6 sites, between 4 and 3: 13 sites, 3≦ weight: 8 sites, and 8 higher risk sites were monitored. At the same time, 6 illegal abandoned sites were screened for UAV 3D modeling operations.
In June and September respectively, the program conducted 2 training sessions on air pollution case audit practice and technology search application, and arranged AI application and audit case description, drone application, environmental protection crime and audit punishment principle explanation, introduction to high-tech law enforcement, investigation requirements of the waste clean-up bill, air sensor Internet of Things assisted audit case, AI data evaluation and intelligent monitoring application, and the venue was equipped with infrared thermal display, infrared gas display, flame ion detector, aerial camera, and AI smoke detection model for participants to operate. The UAV professional license training course was divided into 2 tiers, with 46 people completing the training, 22 people passing the art examination to obtain their licenses, and the 3D modeling education training course in July and August at the Kamioka cleaning team for drone shooting practical training and Taichung Environmental Protection Bureau 5-2 conference room to complete modeling training, with a total of 26 participants.
