This project includes a series of measures to facilitate Taichung City’s low-carbon development, e.g. counseling at the village level, promoting participation in mechanism of low-carbon sustainable homeland, tracking the maintenance situation that have received subsidies in the past, subsidizing construction of low-carbon actions, promoting low-carbon actions according to local conditions, enhancing rating certification level of districts and villages. Furthermore, workshops on addressing climate change will also be held to enhance the awareness of the people. Through guidance and subsidies can enhance more districts and villages to get qualification of rating certification, and construct low-carbon sustainable homeland of Taichung City.
The execution period of the project is from April 12, 2023 to November 30, 2023. The major achievements contained in this report were executed from April 12, 2023 to November 29, 2023. The major achievements in this phase are reported as follow:
(1) Completed 2 workshop for central region exchange meeting; (2) Visited 10 places for the application for Low carbon sustainable Community bronze certification; (3) Completed 10 visits for the on-site inspection; (4) Completed 40 village visits; (5) Completed 10 places of tracking the maintenance situation that have received subsidies in the 2021; (6) Completed 4 cases on low-carbon actions; (7) Completed 4 on building greening; (8) Completed 4 workshops for capacity building; (9) Completed 20 communities for guidance for promoting building energy education and the installation of solar photovoltaic power systems; (10) Completed planning for setting up the solar photovoltaic power generation system; (11) Completed 4 workshops the planning for technical exchange, inter-departmental coordination and central region exchange business contacts of meeting.
