According to the nature of the work, the project is divided into four categories as: building data scientific application analysis tools, analyzing waste and industrial circulation capacity, building a resource circulaiton flow data analysis platform, developing open data and providing for academic analysis and application.
This project gives priority to survey current industrial waste-related systems, and to research the data related to industrial waste reporting in each system, using statistical methods to analyze and integrate, and to improve the content of the overall data. Through data cleaning and system interface, the project has built a knowledge database and model database, to provide scientific application analysis of data, incorporating past experience into system development, and planning smart audit modules for relevant news or cases to carry out various types of analysis. The project then performed data analysis on these results to find outliers and conduct further analysis.
Based on the waste system data, a trend analysis and forecasting tool was established to assist the Ministry of Environmental Protection to gain an in-depth understanding of the generation and processing of waste and to grasp the overall waste resource recycling capacity; on the other hand, the project further developed the application to provide different aspects and scales for data analysis and quick searching.
In order to facilitate the Resource Circulation Administration to predominate the overall flow of resource materials, and to analyze the possibility for more resource materials circulation, to display the analysis results through data visualization, that the complex data can be presented in a graphical manner and can be more accurately displayed, and quickly understood from the large amount of information and data, the project will build a resource circulation data analysis platform to integrate and analyze the reported data related to industrial waste. At the same time, business intelligence software or data analysis software will be introduced and applied to convert the data into more valuable information that can be used to strengthen the promotion of resource circulation.
