This project involves maintaining and expanding the Chemical Knowledge Map website of the Chemicals Administration. It includes assisting with content uploads, data transfers, adding 20 new links to domestic and international academic and popular science websites, updating global chemistry event review articles, expand the Green Living section (including indoor and outdoor areas), and integrating Google Analytics for website analysis to propose improvement plans.
Also focuses on creating promotional materials and using diverse channels and emerging media to communicate chemical substance risks. First, Chem Life Facebook Fan Page: The page promoted information about chemical substances by publishing 589 posts, submitting weekly and monthly reports, organizing 10 interactive fan activities, collaborating with 16 knowledge platforms, and increasing the number of followers by 20,841 during the operation period. Second, LINE Official Account Management: This involves creating 25 marketing posts for LINE and supporting the publication of promotional posts assigned by the Chemicals Administration. Third, Media Coverage: The project aims to secure 8 media placements reporting on activities related to chemical risk communication. Last, Thematic Lightbox Advertisements: Planning and producing 6 advertisements focused on chemical substance themes.
Translate chemical information and develop chemical knowledge in textual, visual, and video formats. It includes producing 2024 and 2025 desk calendars, writing 22 science articles (in which 2 articles were value-added services) targeting junior high school and elementary school students to be posted on the Chemical Knowledge Map website, compiling 80 global chemistry event review articles, preparing 15 thematic action plans for the website's dedicated section, and printing 2,000 copies (in which 1,500 were value-added services) of The Mandarin Daily News science column compilation, which also be published on the website.
Additionally, the project assisted the Chemicals Administration in using media to convey chemical topics from different perspectives, inclusive of hold a basic media communication training camp, resulting in 5 outcome videos, one handbook, and a behind-the-scenes documentary.
