微波輔助回收軟性多層複合包裝 可行性評估計畫

中文摘要 多層複合塑膠包裝材料(Multi-material multilayer plastic packaging)應用範圍極為廣泛,如食品業包裝、飼料包裝袋、化學業、工業材料及電子零件包裝等。多層複合包裝材料的優勢為可提升產品的保存期限,並提升價值,於材質的選擇上可滿足阻絕水份、阻絕氣體、防止油氣、防鏽蝕、防輻射及無菌保鮮等需求。目前市面上的多層複合包裝材料還未有主流的回收解決方案,因此本計畫以微波輔助加熱機制開發回收軟性多層複合包裝流程,並進行技術可行性評估。 由實驗結果發現內層塑膠溶劑可使用四氫呋喃,加熱溫度需控制於50°C,可在 1 分鐘內快速加熱。中間層與外層塑膠溶液可使用檸檬酸濃度於35wt%或 5wt%及 10wt%碳酸鈉水溶液,微波加熱 2 分鐘效果最佳。微波輔助系統結構組裝與測試皆順利完成並符合設計規格,系統使用2.45GHz / 3000W 磁控管作為微波能量的來源,選用WR340方形波導管傳輸微波能量,依照上述微波功率及頻率設計出能效最大化且兼顧加熱均勻性的微波反應腔體。未來可規劃小型的試運行,並與相關廠商確認其分類回收的可行性及其回收的商業價值。

Feasibility assessment project for microwave-assisted recycling technology of flexible multi-material multilayer plastic packaging

英文摘要 Multi-material multilayer plastic packaging has a wide range of applications, such as food industry packaging, feed packaging bags, chemical industry, industrial materials and electronic parts packaging. The advantage of multi-layer composite packaging materials is that it can increase the storage period of products and increase the value. The selection of materials can meet the needs of water resistance, gas resistance, oil and gas prevention, rust prevention, radiation protection, and aseptic freshness preservation. Currently, there is no mainstream recycling solution for Multi-material multilayer plastic packaging materials on the market. Therefore, this project uses a microwave-assisted heating mechanism to develop a recycling process for soft multi-layer composite packaging and conduct a technical feasibility assessment. From the experimental results, it was found that tetrahydrofuran can be used as the inner plastic solvent. The heating temperature needs to be controlled at 50°C, and it can be heated quickly within 1 minute. The middle layer and outer layer plastic solution can use citric acid concentration of 35wt% or 5wt% and 10wt% sodium carbonate aqueous solution. Microwave heating for 2 minutes has the best effect. The structural assembly and testing of the microwave auxiliary system were successfully completed and met the design specifications. The system uses a 2.45GHz/3000W magnetron as the source of microwave energy and a WR340 square waveguide to transmit microwave energy. The system is designed to maximize energy efficiency according to the above microwave power and frequency. And a microwave reaction cavity that considers heating uniformity. In the future, a small-scale trial operation can be planned, and the feasibility of classified recycling and the commercial value of recycling can be confirmed with relevant manufacturers.
