The main goals of this project include: (1) Analyzing the logic behind air pollution criminal predisposition behaviors. (2) Analyzing the feasibility of data presentation and coordination with environmental agencies at all levels. (3) Analyzing the transportation behavior patterns of Industrial waste clearance and transport machinery in waste disposal cases. (4) Formulating a waste inspection strategy project plan. (5) Assisting in advancing various administrative tasks related to this project.
The project utilizes air quality IoT data from Taoyuan City, Changhua County, and Tainan City, providing the data to the TrackAIR platform for screening pollution hotspots and conducting analyses on potential pollution sources and risks. Finally the project generates a list of businesses which could be the potential pollution sources and presents the results of air pollution hotspots in a visualized format, displaying calculations from the past 24 hours.
In the context of illegal waste disposal hotspots, this project establishes an AI Virtual Fence System for avoiding illegal dumping. When the transport machinery passes through monitoring spots, the system obtains license plate recognition results and sends the data back to the system. The system utilizes an AI module to determine whether the vehicle is listed in the Resource Circulation Administration's managed vehicles. If the vehicle is on the list, and the GPS track is also abnormal, it will be alarmed by the system.
If the vehicle is not on the list, the system will make sure if there are any abnormal vehicle registration information for further check. After generating a list of anomalies, the system transfers it to relevant authorities through the inspection cooperation network. Following the standard operating procedures for enforcement of abnormal vehicles, this project submits the list of vehicles with abnormal trajectories to the responsible authorities on a monthly basis, in order to receive the corrective action from the businesses.
