Promotion of weed management in non-agricultural lands
(1) 10 non-agricultural land environmental weed management publicity activities were held to promote the non-agricultural land environmental weed management guidelines to the public. A total of 230 people participated, 3 of which included electric lawn mower operation demonstrations for a total of 76 people. Participate in hands-on experience courses.
(2) A total of 219 people filled out the questionnaire during the publicity campaign, and 90% of the people answered each question correctly, indicating that the public’s concept of non-agricultural land environmental weed management publicity has been significantly improved after participating in the publicity, showing that most of the people are non-agricultural. Cognition of local management concepts is sufficient
(3) This project will publish 2 advertisements and 1 news article in the Kinmen Daily to promote environmental weed management on non-agricultural land. The theme of the promotion is to pay attention to and implement the environmental weed management strategy on non-agricultural land when sweeping tombs and worshiping ancestors.
(4) Inspected the weeding methods of 12 non-agricultural land public land responsible units, with a total area of 89,300 square meters. The inspection results showed that none of the above units used herbicides, and all operations used mechanical weeding (shoulder-mounted lawn mowers, electric Lawn mowers, riding lawn mowers).
