The training business for environmental protection professional certificates in our country has been operated for 34 years since its implementation in 1989. With the complete operation system established until now, it is still necessary to adhere to the basic idea of environmental protection being more professional and training innovation while cultivating professional human resources with environmental protection certificates. However, various systems need to respond to the diverse needs of different generations and the constant pursuit of newness and change by industries. They must meet social development trends, and the following measures will continue to be promoted in the future: 1. Providing timely teaching materials Content optimization of in-service training net zero emission courses and the latest laws and policies, through material review and adjustment, guiding established environmental protection specialty and technical personnel to obtain the latest laws and policies and technical management methods from the government every two years during their recertification courses, strengthening the professional abilities of specialty and technical personnel, and then bringing what they have learned back to their service units to formulate response strategies for government regulatory measures, improve technical management methods, and enhance overall environmental performance. 2. Assist in improving the professional skills of qualified personnel and the interactive communication mechanism for qualified dedicated personnel. In the existing training mechanism, the National Environmental Protection Agency will continue to assist the appointed personnel to master the latest environmental protection laws and policies, pollution prevention and treatment technologies, and through Business exchange symposium for dedicated staff (toxic chemicals management and waste management) to establish a sense of connection and belonging among dedicated staff. 3. Improving measures for digitalization trends Assist in collecting and compiling domestic government agency electronic certificate issuance mechanisms. Based on the application and issuance processes, related fees, and anti-counterfeiting measures of currently implemented units such as the Ministry of Education's electronic certificate system, the Examination Yuan's electronic certificate system, and the Intellectual Property Office's electronic certificate system, feasibility suggestions are proposed for the digitalization of environmental protection specialty and technical personnel qualifications. 4. Based on the information on the establishment, cancellation, and changes of environmental protection specialists and technical personnel, track qualified trainees, and conduct routine inspections on the establishment status of those serving in the business premises after receiving the certificate.
