The project period is from February 29, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The abstract of implementation is as following:
I. Developing the Implementation Plan: The implementation plan of the submitted work items was completed on May 8, 2023.
II. soil and groundwater protection E-sports: holding in collaboration with PaGamO, targeting students from grades 4 to 8. Through online game-based learning, the event aimed to inspire enthusiasm for learning and promote environmental knowledge related to soil and groundwater protection and other eco-friendly topics. The total value of the prizes exceeds NT$300,000.Two online activities were launched before the event started, with more than 80,000 participants. The online preliminaries were held from October 17th to October 21st. A total of nearly 2,000 students participated. In the end, the top 30 players, based on scores, advanced to the finals, which were held on November 16. A total of 118 people attended the finals and award ceremony.
III. Environmental education activities of soil and groundwater: The target audience is parents and children, and the concept of soil and groundwater protection is integrated into the activity, so that children can understand the way of coexisting with the environment and understand the harm caused by soil and groundwater pollution. The event has been held 2 times on July 5th and August 3rd, with a total of 78 people participating. The response from parents and children has been very good, and they hope to continue to hold experience activities in the future.
IV. Board game activities of soil and groundwater: The teacher training activities started with understanding the concept of board games and soil and groundwater protection, and then learned to use board games to assist course teaching. A total of 3 sessions were held on May 8th, May 24th and May 31st, with a total of 69 people participated. In the student section, we guide students to think after the game, guide them to understand the concepts conveyed by the board game, and establish basic understanding and protection concepts of soil and groundwater. A total of 9 sessions have been held in May to October, with a total of 229 students. An application mechanism for board game teaching aids has been formulated. Currently, a total of 2 cases have been applied for experience, 7 cases have been borrowed, and a total of 21 cases have been requested.
V. Multimedia publicity: Operating FB and IG fan page and have released a total of 153 posts from March to December, 2024, reaching more than 180,000 people. And 4 fan events were held from August to September, leading to an increase of over 800 followers. In addition, this year, the mascot of the Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Fund Management Board, Water Droplet and Sediment Baby, was used to design FB and IG filters. A promotional campaign was held in October, resulting in over 170,000 exposures.In cooperation with "Studio Classroom" for bilingual teaching materials, 210,000 copies of the magazine have been published on September 15, and promoted through various media, including online community, radio, TV, and other media promotion.
VI. Special promotional materials:total of three types of promotional materials have been planned, targeting different groups, totaling 500 copies.And by collecting and compiling past activities, two distinctive promotional proposals with different formats have been developed.
