The implementation period of this project was from February 6th, 2024 to November 30th, 2024. This project included improving the management system of the clearance and disposal organizations, reviewing and proposing amendments to the management regulations, statistical analysis and current situation investigation of the operation for the waste clearance and disposal organizations, strengthen the monitoring of clearance and disposal for the industrial waste, updating the prices of entrusted clearance and disposal for the waste of concern, strengthen the management application of the "Management of Waste Clearance and Disposal Information System", optimizing system functions, developing functions in line with demand, and improving project effectiveness and quality in line with administrative needs, etc.. Here are the results of each work:
1.Propose amendments to the Waste Disposal Act and the Resource Recycling Act, propose amendments to relevant management regulations based on the actual situation from clearance and disposal organizations, and propose relevant draft guidelines for permit reviews, landfill redevelopment, assessment systems, and fire prevention in line with policy promotion needs.
2.Complete the operation history and group overview of public and private waste incineration organizations, collect statistics on the establishment and operation of the organizations on a quarterly basis, update the entry price and quantity of waste entrusted to be cleaned by large waste incineration plants, and statistically analyze 5 categories of concerns market price for the disposal of industrial waste.
3.Maintain and update the functions of the "Management of Waste Clearance and Disposal Information System" and develop related functions according to user needs to improve administrative efficiency.
4.Completed 30 on-site counseling sessions for public and private industrial waste clearance and disposal organizations, cooperated with the publicity work on occupational safety and gender equality issues, held regulatory and system publicity briefings, expert consultation meetings and performance review meetings, and assigned dedicated personnel to assist in the office Administrative work related to this project is in line with the administrative needs of the Department of Resources and Recycling of the Ministry of Environment to improve the effectiveness and quality of project implementation.
