The primary achievements of this project in 2024 are summarized as follows:
(1) Continue to enhance system functions
In response to user feedback, a total of 20 functions were adjusted.
(2) Add three new functions in the internal management system
The three major functions included: an environmental crime case registration platform, an enterprise information archive platform, and a major case investigation report query system.
(3) Expand the logic analysis of pollution behaviors and generate usage scenarios
Two sets of waste logic modules were added, and users feedback was requested from the Central Center. The usage of intelligent logic modules will be submitted regularly in the monthly reports.
(4) Establish a data analysis and on-site inspection work model for identifying high-concern water pollution enterprises
Construct reconciliation analysis modules for the livestock industry (pork farming), electroplating industry (including metal surface treatment), and textile industry using permit and reporting data. The results were filtered based on different parameters and generated high-risk enterprise lists for each industry category. Lists of the livestock industry were turned over the Southern Center for on-site inspection and that of the electroplating industry were compared to the reference which provided by the Northern Center.
(5) Enhance existing visualization system functions
Three visualization features, including the air pollution trend, the waste reporting information, and the corporate social network analysis diagram, were enhanced.
(6) Plan the space for the Intelligent Enforcement Decision Making Center
Ten versions of the space planning design drawings, estimated budget for the renovation works, and 3D elevation drawings were completed.
(7) Enhance the system usage and data analysis capabilities of inspection personnel
(1)Three guidance and briefing sessions on the system of Environmental Management Center were organized. (2)Twelve training sessions were organized for local Environmental Protection Bureaus in the following counties and cities: Taitung County, Chiayi County, Chiayi City, Hsinchu County, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Tainan City, Lienchiang County, Hsinchu City, Taichung City, Penghu County, and Pingtung County.
