The major goal of this project was to establish the sustainable development of communities. This project invited a group of diverse scholars and specialists to visit communities, which submitted proposals of sustainable community to The Environmental Protection Administration, in order to offer consulting services. We also helped with Personnel Training Workshops, know-how sharing, results presentations and discussions in order to further promote residents’ participations in environmental improvements. In addition, this project developed The Check List of Total Control Items and The Effectiveness Evaluation of Community Environmental Protection. By collecting the information of community environmental improvements and by documenting related activities, we compiled a Results Report at the end of this project in order to share the experience with other communities. Hopefully, more people will take an active role in the improvement of their living environments.
